I have searched high and low for the coolest instagram businesses (because supporting small is so important!) to bring you my favourite gifting products for men, women and children. Each box is £10 and filled with the juiciest ethically sourced medjoul dates from Jordan. But what's great about this company is that every time you buy a box you are donating to one of these amazing causes:

The green peas fritters are so quick and easy to make and taste delicious. Be sure to make these if you ever host a dinner or party as they make a great starter/finger food. For a vegan option, just skip out the egg - I've tried it plenty of times and it works just as well.

INGREDIENTS (Makes approx 20)

- 200g Frozen Peas
- 1 Small Onion
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Ground Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Large Egg
- 100g Gram Flour (Besan)
- 4 Tsp Water

METHOD

Step 1

Place defrosted peas into a large bowl and add 1 small thinly sliced onion.

Step 2

Add baking powder, ground pepper, garam masala, paprika and salt.

Step 3

Add 1 large egg, 100g gram flour, 4 tbsp water and mix well with hands, squashing some of the peas.

Step 4

Fry on low - medium heat for 5 mins on each side or until golden.

Enjoy with chilli sauce or mango chutney!

The Ikea Kullen 5 Drawer is great for organising your essential clothing items. The drawer itself is slim and narrow so great for small spaces. It has 2 shallow drawers at the top and 3 deeper drawers underneath. I would recommend using it for items such as vests, t-shirts, socks, underwear and pyjamas.

As you can see from the images above, I like roll my t-shirts so I can see all the colours I have. This is also very space saving and keeps is neater for longer.

The top shallow drawers are great for storing your socks and tights. Again, I like to roll these so I can see what I have.

Watch my youtube video on how I organise my clothes in the Ikea Kullen Drawer.

Getting married but shocked at the prices of wedding cakes? Well, why not have a go at making your own cake for your big day with a helping hand from Marks and Spencer. If you’ve never checked out their wedding cake selection online you’ll be spoilt for choice with their variety of cakes available to order in as little as 7 days. Their classic plain fondant icing cake (which comes in 4 sizes) is perfect for stacking on top of each other than decorating, so that’s exactly what I did for a relatives wedding. Have a look at the images below to see how I created a beautiful floral ombré 4 tiered cake.

What I used:

M&S plain fondant icing cakes in all 4 sizes. You can choose from vanilla sponge, chocolate sponge or fruit sponge. We went for vanilla and it was absolutely delicious - so soft, moist and fresh.

For the decoration I used Redshaw Ready to Roll Icing in shades Red and Burgundy and a Silicone Rose Mould from Amazon.

Using the mould is very easy but you must grease it first with a little bit of oil or else the fondant gets stuck inside and it's really annoying to take out.

I used cake dowels to hold the cake up or else it would have caved in. And lastly, I also used good old Betty Crocker Velvety Vanilla Icing to stick the cakes together as well as stick the fondant flowers on.

The final result... I think it turned out lovely and I hope you think so too!

I also managed to film myself decorating the cake so check out my youtube video below:

I hope this post has inspired you to have a go at designing your own celebration cake. With the money you’ll save it’s certainly worth a try.

If you want to give your kitchen cupboards a super organised makeover then look no further as I have the perfect storage solution for you; believe me, you need these Amazon clear storage containers in your life. They're sleek, sturdy, air-tight and will be the envy of all your house guests. Not only do they perfectly store your perishable items but they also double up as snack servers. Fill them up with nuts and biscuits for storage, then pop open the lids and place on the coffee table for guests to help themselves.

They come in a set of 6 with 2 containers of each height. You can purchase them HERE.

After purchasing 4 of these sets (as pictured above) I also found the matching extra tall containers (below) for my spaghetti and other pastas. These sell as a set of 4 and can be purchased HERE.

Happy organising!
