Are you needing gift ideas for Ramadan but not sure where to start or what to buy? I have searched high and low for the coolest instagram businesses (because supporting small is so important!) to bring you my favourite gifting products for men, women and children. Check them out below and be sure to give them a follow on their socials.

First things first, have you ordered your Ramadan dates? Whether you have or not, you must order a box (or two) from The Date Project. Each box is £10 and filled with the juiciest ethically sourced medjoul dates from Jordan. But what's great about this company is that every time you buy a box you are donating to one of these amazing causes:

DatesforOrphans: Each tin helps towards providing education for orphans residing at SKT Welfares Springs of Hope Centre

DatesforPalestine: Each tin provides 500 litres of water

DatesforRohingya: Each tin helps towards providing vital food and aid

DatesforSyria: Each tin provides 50 loaves of bread

DatesforYemen: Each tin helps towards providing vital food and aid

Love, Naheeda x

The green peas fritters are so quick and easy to make and taste delicious. Be sure to make these if you ever host a dinner or party as they make a great starter/finger food. For a vegan option, just skip out the egg - I've tried it plenty of times and it works just as well.

INGREDIENTS (Makes approx 20)

- 200g Frozen Peas
- 1 Small Onion
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Ground Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Large Egg
- 100g Gram Flour (Besan)
- 4 Tsp Water

Step 1

Place defrosted peas into a large bowl and add 1 small thinly sliced onion.

Step 2

Add baking powder, ground pepper, garam masala, paprika and salt.

Step 3

Add 1 large egg, 100g gram flour, 4 tbsp water and mix well with hands, squashing some of the peas.

Step 4

Fry on low - medium heat for 5 mins on each side or until golden.

Enjoy with chilli sauce or mango chutney!
